Among the protagonists of this bloody tv-show, of course there will be sergeant Batista, played by David Zayas. Soon after LaGuerta's death, series fans wondered if Batista will be able to flush out Dex and Deb, the authors of Angel's ex-wife's murder. In a recent interview, Zayas declared he does not know how the series will end, but he said that his character "will assume a quite interesting position regarding the homicide. I wish Batista could keep his dignity and honesty, but he has a great heart, which sometimes brings him to take wrong decisions." Asked about this final season, he said that "it is a great way to end it, while it is still at its top. It has been a wonderful experience; I learned very much and met many friends."Speaking during the premiere held few days ago, Michael C.Hall wanted to arouse fans' curiosity by saying that the eight season will contain even more creepy stuff on him than on the series in general, something that has never been showed so far...something about cannibals!
Of course the actor did not mention any more details, but this is enough to make the wait even more thrilling! The first episode will be aired next June 30th on Showtime. In the meantime, we can only enjoy the promo!
